Among the many new releases of replica Cartier watches for 2011 was this ultra-thin version of the popular Ballon Bleu. I am not entirely sure why the Ballon Bleu is so popular. As a ladies watch I understand it completely. It has an elegant, sparkling beauty and beautiful round shapes. I mean the word ‘balloon’ is in the name – at least that means ‘balloon’. I would be wrong, I do not know. Regardless of the real translation, the watch collection is always the “blue balloon” for me – and now it is a little empty.
Thin profile watches are hot in 2011. There are many reasons for this, but the costs are one of them. Brands can charge the same amount for a watch with less precious metal – and they can claim that you pay for the complexity of miniaturization. That argument may be logical, but thin watches have existed for generations. I actually do not like thin profile watches unless they are wide enough. A little under 40 mm wide in a thinking profile does not see time on my wrist and I prefer 42 mm and wider as I can help. Fortunately replica Cartier Ballon Bleu Extra-Flat Watch made this thin version of the Ballon Bleu 46 mm wide – great.
cartier fake watches calls the watch the “Extra-Flat” Ballon Bleu. There are at least a dozen ways in which brands are found that call thin watches. Some only use names like ‘flat’ or ‘thin’ and sometimes terms like ‘slim’. The brands are sometimes a bit over-enthusiastic about the slenderness of these timepieces and feel the need to add adjectives to help you with their same state of mind. That is why you see labels as ‘ultra-thin’ and ‘extra flat’. Can someone in Switzerland come up with a set of ‘thinness’ guidelines to help these brands? What is considered thin? What is considered extra thin? You do not see the term ‘extra thick’. Instead, they use the term “too big” (which I have mentioned about 6,000 times, is a stupid term that I hate). The labels are not logical, but they are nice to say. As you can see, the Extra Flat Ballon Bleu is pretty thin on the pulse. Cartier does not even publish the thickness of the case. I did not think I would measure it at check-out, but now I can not tell you the measurement. So how flat is the watch? Extra flat.
To be honest, the actual thickness of a thin watch does not really matter unless you want to claim that you have the thinnest of the world, as is the case with some Piaget watches. What matters is how they look and feel on the wrist. replica Cartier Ballon Bleu Extra-Flat Watch is not in the game to beat records, but it does want to offer a thin profile version of the popular seller – and it looks pretty stylish. Thin still seems to be the popular thing to do nowadays, and brands are experimenting where they might not be around without this trend. The thin housing of the Ballon Bleu Extra Flat is wide and flat – and that’s good. I prefer flatter versus curved when they are so large. The cams bend slightly to make the watch better fit your wrist.
With just two hands and Roman numerals from replica Cartier watches, the engraved dial with guilloche trim looks smooth and is still easy to read. Whether or not you like the style is a matter of taste, but it is an attractive sight in the totality of things. There is also that blue chosen version of the Ballon Bleu – that is especially for the platinum model. Apart from that are 18k white and rose gold models with more traditional Cartier dials. The covered crown has a sapphire cabochon in it.
Cartier does not mention that the timepieces are in the Ballon Bleu Extra-Flat. But a quick look at the back of the cupboard reveals the term ‘mecanique’. That tells me that the watch contains a mechanical movement, which in this case is manually wound. Actually strange that they no longer publish on that point. Most versions of this flat watch have a brown alligator strap, but those people get the blue platinum version with platinum and a blue alligator strap. Price? The replica Cartier watches gives you gold and $ 32,550 of platinum.
